Aerika Brittian is a doctoral student in the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Development at Tufts University and a research assistant for the 4-H Study of Positive Youth Development. Her research interests include factors which influence academic achievement in underrepresented populations, the influence multi-faceted aspects of identity (e.g., culture, gender, religion) on indicators of positive youth development and development of positive cultural identity/race socialization.
