Linda Tickle-Degnen was Keynote Speaker at the Living
Well with Parkinson’s Disease Retreat
Dr. Tickle-Degnen was Keynote Speaker at the 3-day
Living Well with Parkinson’s Disease Retreat hosted by
the Parkinson Foundation of Western Pennslyvania. She
lead three workshops and a panel presentation there. To

Collaboration with Jewish Family & Children’s
Services (JFCS)
Over the past three summers, HQL lab research
assistants Twyla Fink, Lisa Ryan and Sarah Porter have
worked in collaboration with Nancy Mazonson, OTR/L at
Jewish Family & Children’s Services in Waltham and Linda
Tickle-Degnen to facillitate programs for people with
Parkinson’s disease. The JF&CS Parkinson’s Family
Support Dance Program has been featured on Boston
television Channel 5, offering creative movement and
dance to participants with Parkinson’s disease.

Kathleen Bogart’s Research Featured on the Cover of the

Kathleen Bogart’s research on emotion recognition and
social functioning with facial paralysis was the subject
of a New York Times Science Times article,
