About Us
Health quality of life is participation in daily life
tasks, activities, and roles in a manner that
contributes to individual, familial, societal, and
global health and well-being. A bio-psycho-social
approach is taken with respect to processes and outcomes
of health quality of life.
At the Health Quality of Life Lab at Tufts, researchers
and students from different disciplines conduct research
in a creative and collaborative environment.
The lab is a model of scholarly and productive research
engagement in an area of knowledge (health quality of
life) that is at an early stage of development,
theoretically, empirically, and socially, but has much
potential for future development, social contribution,
and funding.
We are committed to:
- interdisciplinary collaboration
- global and cross-cultural research
- research education and training
