Ellen Sitron, NP, MSN
Nurse Practitioner
Ellen Sitron has been a nurse practitioner for 15 years. She is a
recent transfer from Philadelphia, where she earned her Master's
Degree in Nursing from Hahnemann University after completing her
certification training as a Women's Health nurse practitioner from
Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Her first educational
focus was theater and the creative arts. Within a few years, she
developed an interest in women's health and decided that nursing
would be a more fulfilling (and steadier) career.
Prior to coming to Tufts, Ellen was nurse director of Student Health
Services at Arcadia University near Philadelphia. She has also been
on staff at Planned Parenthood in Philadelphia for many years. Ellen
loves her home near the ocean, where she spends her down time
quilting, gardening, being outdoors, and playing with her dog,
Margo.
