Tufts University Health Service has a full service laboratory that is accredited by both federal and state agencies. Each of our highly qualified staff has over twenty years of experience in the clinical laboratory field. We are sensitive to the needs of those patients who feel uncomfortable having their blood drawn. We offer a variety of tests including Hematology, Chemistry, Bacteriology, and STD testing. The Lab is equipped with state of the art instrumentation and computers.

Test not performed here are sent to our reference lab Quest Diagnostics. All PAP smears are read by Pathology Services. We will perform tests requested by your own clinician. See the forms page for information on Labs from an outside provider.

Lab hours:
Summer hours are 8:30am-4:00pm Monday to Friday.

During the academic school year, we are open Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:30pm and Saturday 10:30-5:00.
