Are you coming to the Boston area to look for an apartment and need a place to stay during your visit? The Graduate Student Council (GSC), in conjunction with the Tufts University Conference Bureau, has instituted a Temporary Summer Housing program. This program will make affordable temporary housing available for graduate students who may need a place to stay while looking for a permanent place to live. The cost of the housing will be partially subsidized by the GSC.
Dormitory style single rooms in South Hall will be provided at a rate of $30 per night for a maximum of 1 week. Students who need to stay longer than a week will be charged the full price of $46 per night for every night over the 1 week maximum. The rooms are cleaned daily with bed and bath linens provided. Athletic and Recreational facilities as well as campus parking passes are available free of charge during your stay. Meals are available at the dining hall on a cash basis. In room telephone service can be arranged at an additional cost. Emergency medical services are also available through Tufts Health Services at an additional cost. The program will run from June 2 through August 12, 2006. Rooms must be reserved and paid for in advance. We can only accept cash, checks, or money orders in U.S. dollars.
