Theta Delta
Chi, founded in 1856, is both the Fraternity and University’s
longest standing fraternity in continuous existence. Known to
the student body as "123", the Kappa Charge of Theta Delta Chi
remains an integral part of campus life. Contributing to local
philanthropy events, supporting Tufts athletic teams & campus
groups, and providing a great place for students to hang out.
Distinguished alumni include two presidents of Tufts, Leonard
Carmichel '21 and Elmer
Capen '60; as well as Clarence P.
(Pop) Houston 1914, Tufts athletic director and president of the
NCAA. At our fraternity's annual Conference in the summer of
2004, Kappa Charge was awarded with the "Most Improved Charge of
2004" and the "Ritual Improvement Cup" award as well. |
