Residing in a Fraternity or Sorority House

Sophomore fraternity & sorority members may fulfill the university’s residency requirements by living in their chapter house. Additionally, sophomores may fulfill their meal plan requirement if their chapter has a Common Victualler’s License, whether or not they live in the house. Breaking a university housing contract to live in a fraternity or sorority house is not a reason for refund of the room guarantee fee, so it is critical to make residency plans before signing and housing contract in the annual spring housing lottery.
