The members of Alpha Phi are active both within and beyond the Tufts community. Our close bond, further supported by our motto, “Union Hand-in-Hand” contributes to our success in annual events such as Tufts largest literacy event, Read by the River, Kids’ Day, volunteer haunted houses during Halloween, benefit walks for breast cancer and cardiac care and other events. Our biggest philanthropic event, a bi-annual club night brings a diverse group of Tufts students together. The money raised from this event goes to our international philanthropy. Every sister is involved in recruitment to ensure diversity and commitment of sisters. We try to gain the highest ideal of womanhood by cultivating the power and passion for seeking intellectual development and the spirit of love and charity.
