• On-line tests: School of Russian and Asian Studies On-line tests of Grammar, Lexicon and Reading at 3 levels, based on official Russian standards (registration and password required). Other grammar oriented on-line testing sites (in increasing level of difficulties) are CREF , Russian Language, Linden and Denz. Also Simulated Oral Proficiency Interview
• Golosa - Main site for Golosa, books 1 and 2. Online audio, video, and grammar exercises keyed to both textbooks.
• NCRLC Russian Webcasts - Current events read in simplified Russian with online exercises.
• Sussex University Russian Literature Units - Texts by Pushkin, Gogol, Tolstoy and Blok, read aloud with online exercises and background materials.
• Russian Language Mentor - Multiple units for developing reading and listening skills within the social and natural sciences. The site also has an interesting Russian Cultural Literacy unit in English.
• Russnet - Interactive modules based on historical and cultural themes, as well as a business Russian unit. The site also contains an archive of interesting Russian culture links. Maintained by the American Council of Teachers of Russian (ACTR). Students must apply for a password to access interactive materials.
• Russian-English On-line Dictionary - English-Russian On-line Dictionary
• Russian Academy of Sciences - On-line dictionaries (Russian-Russian) and links to on-line library of reference literature
• Gramota - Government sponsored site in support of Russian language standards and studies, within Russian and abroad. Includes tutorials on various aspects of Russian language.
