Center for Arabic Study Abroad (CASA)
The Tufts Arabic program is pleased to announce that in the 2011-2012 academic year, five Tufts students have been accepted into the Center for Arabic Study Abroad (CASA) program -- the largest group from any single university this year. CASA is widely seen as one of the most prestigious Arabic study-abroad programs, and consists of a fully-funded year of intensive Arabic study in Cairo, Egypt. Entry into CASA is highly competitive, and the selection of such a large group from Tufts is evidence that the Arabic program is attracting and producing students who are among the best in the US.
