The Gallery extends its appreciation to the University community – generous alumni, friends, and the active Patrons of the Arts group – for the continued support and commitment to the development of the Gallery. All gifts to the University are brought before the University Art Collection Committee for consideration. The Committee has been established to offer valuable guidance pertaining to the growth and management of the collection. As a result of the generous donors and the Committee’s expertise, the holdings have grown to include extraordinary works in all media for the University community to study and enjoy. The following are recent additions to the Collection.

Alison Cann Clift, known as “Ali”, explores a combination of still life, circus, and landscape subject matter in her art. Her works include etching, drypoint, serigraph, and monoprint, but she is most known for her painting technique using layers of colored fabric toned with crayon and pastel. She earned a BFA from Tufts University and also attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Aaron Fink’s award-winning work is a lively celebration of paint and painting. By instilling monumental feelings through luscious color, atmospheric light, and large scale, he produces iconic works from ordinary objects such as hats, light bulbs, and coffee mugs. Fink received a BFA from the Maryland Institute, College of Art and an MFA from Yale University.
