Services and Rates

The Tufts University European Center offers a unique combination of services, including pricing flexibility based on the choice of three or four star hotel accommodations, and an array of dining options at any of the superb restaurants within easy walking distance.

Tufts University European Center Staff are highly experienced and ready to help plan, coordinate, and implement your meeting or conference from beginning to end, leaving you free to concentrate on program content and interaction with your participants.

The Tufts European Center offers one large meeting room that can accommodate 40 people seated board-room style or 90 people seated concert style, and five smaller rooms ideal for break-out sessions or more intimate meetings. In addition to our meeting rooms, the gardens offer an ideal environment for informal meetings, receptions or group photos.

Our bilingual staff will assist you with the following services:

• Thoughtful pre-event planning sessions
• Coordination of all logistical details for participant lodging and meals
• Arrangement of ground transportation
• Preparation of welcome packets
• Set-up and operation of audio-visual equipment
• Assistance in arranging entertainment and recreational activities

Our conference rate*, or Complete meeting Package (CMP), of $415 per person per day includes:

• Accommodations in one of Talloires’ fine hotels*
• All event meals
• Morning and afternoon refreshment breaks
• Welcome packet with meeting/conference information, pad and pen, information and maps on local sights and recreation
• Gratuities and taxes

Guests of participants are charged $315 per day. This includes hotel accommodation (double occupancy with participant), all meeting/conference meals, and access to the Center’s facilities and services.

Personal computers, photocopier, telephone, fax machine, as well as Internet access are available for an additional fee. The following supplies and equipment are available and included in the CMP:

• Overhead projector
• Carousel slide projector
• Small and large projection screens
• Video projector
• VCR and television monitor
• Sound System with Amplifier and Cassette Player
• Standard and Wireless microphones
• Flipcharts and White boards
• Lectern

*Note: Rates are based upon room availability and may be slightly higher during peak season. Surcharge applies for L’Auberge du Pere Bise.
