The Tufts University
European Center has welcomed distinguished visitors and conference participants
from all over the world to its magnificent facility in the French Alps. Nestled
on the beautiful shores of Lake Annecy, the Center evokes an overriding sense of
peace and tranquility, creating the perfect atmosphere for a successful meeting

Centrally located in Europe, the European Center is only a one hour drive from
the Geneva airport, a 2 hour drive from Lyon, and a three hour TGV train ride
from Paris (arriving into nearby Annecy). The Annecy train station is only a 20
minute drive or bus ride from Talloires. The Center is easily accessible from
all major European cities. Objective of the European
Center
The objective of the European Center is to serve the meeting needs of both Tufts
University and other educational and professional organizations. Preference is
given to meetings that address and support the Center’s philosophy of
encouraging global understanding.
