Curricula Committee

Instructions

Use this form to request approval for a new program, major, or minor that is not currently listed in the Bulletin. A separate form applies for changes to existing programs, majors, or minors.  Enter the requested information below and click submit to email the department chair or program director for approval.

If the program, major, or minor is interdisciplinary, approval needs to be granted by the appropriate dean in the School or Arts & Sciences.  Additionally, if the program, major, or minor involves the School of Engineering, approval is required by both the School of Engineering and the Committee on Educational Policy.  Please consult the chair of the Committee on Curricula who can facilitate the approval process.

Finally, bibliographer's approval alerts the library to courses that may require new resources, but it is not intended to restrict the introduction of new courses into the School of Arts & Sciences curricula.

Once approved by the appropriate parties, the information will be sent to the Curricula Committee.
