Experimental exploration of neutrino interactions and oscillations
Search for nucleon decay
Collider physics at the CERN LHC.
Measurement of the fundamental parameters which govern neutrino oscillations observed in the fluxes of atmospheric neutrinos, using the Soudan 2 underground detector. Design and fabrication of an accelerator-based long baseline neutrino oscillation experiment (MINOS). Construction of the muon tracking system to service the ATLAS experiment which will observe pp collisions at the highest center-of-mass energies ever achieved.
