Her current professional interests include how teachers' educational biographies and their subsequent assumptions about learning and teaching inform their teaching decisions; teachers as researchers of pedagogical questions in their own classrooms; and the development of children's ideas about the world, in particular mathematics and science. Children’s literature as situated in socio-political-cultural contexts.
