My particle physics interests include theoretical studies of quark dynamics, applications and tests of Quantum ChromoDynamics, the spin structure of nucleons and hadrons, the production of top quarks, the polarization and spin dependence in various light and heavy quark production and fragmentation processes at high energy. Some recent publications can be viewed at the websites listed above. This work is supported by the Department of Energy.
My work in Physics Education Research centers on how elementary school students learn and use their experiential resources to understand many basic elements of physics. I work with educational researchers, local and on-line teachers in classrooms and workshops. A recent presentation can be seen at my website http://www.tufts.edu/~ggoldste. This work is supported by NSF.
