Bylaws:
A Committee on Athletics, consisting of eleven or more members, including at
least five members of the Faculty, the Director of Programs (Physical
Education/Dance, Recreation/Intramurals, and Intercollegiate Athletics), the
Dean of Students, a representative from the Administration at Large, and the
following members ex officio without vote: the Coordinator of Athletics, the
Coordinator of Physical Education/Dance, and the Coordinator of
Recreation/Intramurals. The functions of this Committee shall be to study
and make recommendations relative to athletic programs and policies of Tufts
University.
Committee Description & Work Load:
This committee meets 2-3 times per semester to administer athletic awards,
oversee proposals for new sports programs, and to give the Athletics
Department guidance on issues related to athletics and academics at Tufts. |
