Committee Description & Work Load:
The Board of Experimental College is composed of ten or more members, five of
whom must be faculty from the different areas of undergraduate study and five of
whom are elected undergraduates. It meets on a regular basis, every other week,
to assess the progress of courses and programs run by the ExCollege and to
create one campus-wide program each semester that addresses current political or
cultural issues relevant to the Tufts community. In addition, one full-day
meeting occurs at the end of each semester during which funding is assigned to
roughly twenty-five courses selected from a pool of one-hundred-plus proposals
and offered the following semester. |
