Description & Work Load
|
Bylaws:
A Committee on Computer Facilities and Usage, consisting of five or more
members. This committee shall study existing and future needs for computing
facilities, to ensure that the research and educational activities of the
faculty and students are adequately supported by convenient access to
appropriate data processing facilities.
Committee Description & Work Load:
The Computer Facilities and Usage Committee is the only AS&E faculty
Committee that has responsibility for overseeing and monitoring academic
technologies. It seeks to ensure that the administration of academic
technologies for instruction and research is responsive to the needs to
faculty and students. It also seeks to ensure that University-wide policies
toward academic technologies are consistent with AS&E needs. The Committee
typically meets two times a semester and whenever the need arises. Graduate
student participation would be welcomed. |
