Bylaws:

A subcommittee known as the Subcommittee on Specific Learning Disabilities whose function it shall be to review and coordinate efforts relating to the issue of specific learning disabilities on campus, including the provision of equal educational opportunity through remedial assistance or accommodation to the disability and the evaluation of student petitions in consultation with appropriate deans. This subcommittee shall consist of four or more members of the faculty, including one member of a department of modern foreign languages and one member of the departments of Child Study, BSOT, Education or Psychology. Ex officio members, without voting privileges, shall include the Dean of Undergraduate Studies (or his/her delegate), the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies for Freshmen, the Director of the Counseling Center (or his/her delegate), and the Director of the Academic Resource Center.
