Welcome to Essence's official website! Essence is an all female a cappella group
from Tufts University specializing in music of the African diaspora!
We've been through lots of changes this past year and we need new
members! So if you like to sing r&b and think you got soul, you should
definitely try out! We'll be having auditions the first week of school
so look for out for posters and info around campus soon. Thanks for
