Study Abroad Programs for English
Majors
English majors, like all Tufts students, have the option to study abroad for one or more semesters during their academic career. Students should plan carefully to ensure they meet all of the program prerequisites.
The University offers two official programs in England - one in Oxford and one in London. For both of these programs, all credits and grades are transferrable to a student's Tufts transcript; these credits can be used to fulfill English major requirements. Students wishing to attend either of these programs should consult with Professor John Fyler.
Tufts in London
The Tufts-in-London program
enrolls up to fifty students each year, and is completely integrated into
University College London. It is a full-year program, and only students who
apply for the full year will be accepted.
Tufts in Oxford
The Tufts-in-Oxford program
allows a select few Tufts students to study at Pembroke College of Oxford
University. It is a prestigious full-year program.
