Writing Tutors

Writing help can be obtained through the Academic Resource Center (ARC) in Dowling Hall. Peer tutors, Graduate Writing Consultants, and a professional Writing Tutor especially focused on First Year Writing are available by appointment for consultation at every stage of the writing process. The ARC also sponsors drop-in tutoring hours at Tisch Library and some residence halls.

Students can check the ARC website for drop-in tutoring times and locations. They can also search for a tutor and schedule an appointment by using the ARC’s Online Tutor Finder.

All ARC tutoring services are free and confidential.
