**Students will take ED161, ED162, or ED163 during the first
semester of coursework. Students are required to take ED161 and
ED162 to complete their degree requirements.
***Capstone: With the guidance of an advisor, students elect one
of two capstone projects: a paper or a thesis. Proposals for
both the paper and the thesis must be submitted and approved the
semester prior to taking the paper or thesis course.
