Dana (Dean) Simpson is a lecturer and educational consultant. In addition to teaching ED183 and ED191, he teaches language and literature courses in Spanish in the Department of Romance Languages. He received a Masters in Spanish and a Doctorate in Modern Languages (DML) from Middlebury College, and a Masters in Higher Education from the Harvard School of Education. He has taught abroad in Spain, South Korea, China, Malaysia and Thailand. His research and creative interests include Feminist Studies, Innovations in Teaching, and poetry. He has published four books of poetry of Spanish. He has also worked as an educational consultant in the US and Latin America, and most recently in China.
