Dana (Dean) Simpson is a lecturer and educational consultant. In addition to teaching ED183, he teaches language and literature courses in Spanish in the Department of Romance Languages. He received his masters and doctorate degrees in Modern Languages from Middlebury College, and a Masters in Higher Education from the Harvard School of Education. He has taught abroad in Spain, South Korea and China. His research interests include Vanguard and Symbolist poetry, Feminist Studies and Innovation in Teaching. He has published four books of Spanish. He has worked as an educational consultant in the US and Latin America, and most recently is involved in a number of projects in China.
