Part Time Lecturer
Cara Iacobucci studied photography, printmaking at Bates College, received a M.A. in the History of Art and Museum Studies from Tufts University and an Ed.M. in Arts in Education from Harvard University. She started her museum career twenty-plus years ago at Historic New England as Manager of Adult and Family Programs and continued on to work in the fields of exhibition development, education, and community engagement. Cara has held positions and internships at several organizations including The Paul Revere House, The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, The New England Historic Genealogical Society, and Vose Galleries and she works as an independent museum consultant. Presently, she teaches Museums Today: Mission and Function and the Museum Studies Practicum Course. Previous classes include Exhibition Planning for the Small Museum.
