Keith Maddox and Sam Sommers: The Psychology of
Diversity
 |
"I want to learn more about how stereotypes affect
my own teaching, students and classroom." |
 |
"The best part of this day's presentations for me
has been the professionalism of the programs." |
 |
Drs. Maddox and Sommers gave a great presentation….
Rich conversations and meeting new people was
incredibly invaluable (as always). |
Hakim Lucas (MAT 2002): Luncheon Keynote: A
Journey
 |
"Hakim Lucas was fabulous. The importance of Tufts
to his own academic and personal growth honestly
makes me appreciate this program more. He also had
tremendously wise advice to teachers about setting
an example by how we live, not just what we're
trying to teach." |
 |
"Hakim's presentation was truly inspirational." |
 |
"The best part of this day's presentations for me
was the luncheon keynote, but everything was
wonderful. Just the inspiration we need right before
Thanksgiving." |
Gulf of Maine Institute (GOMI): Science and
Activism among Student and Teachers
 |
"This [conference] has been a very valuable program
– I enjoyed all aspects of the afternoon [GOMI
presentation]!" |
 |
"I can't say one special presentation was best… they
were all great in their own way. I learned,
reflected, engaged, admired, and thought about new
ways to engage students." |
 |
"[The conference] was great. I feel refreshed and
re-energized." |
