| About Us
Welcome to Tufts University!
On behalf of the Education Department's faculty, staff,
students, alumni, and community, we welcome you to our home.
Tufts Department of Education is a unique and vibrant
environment that captures the passions of our faculty, staff,
scholars, and students. We pride ourselves on our commitment to
research and practice, and to the fundamental ways in which
these interconnect and inform each other. We are fully invested
in education for equity and social justice, and to our essential
partnerships with local urban schools and institutions. We find
collaborations to be the framework of our practices:
collaborations with colleagues, graduate students, school
children, families, practitioners, researchers. We strive for
these goals through an understanding that we are all partners in
our common endeavor: to improve the educational opportunities of
all children and students.
We invite you to learn more about and join our community, and
know that you will find your experiences at Tufts both
personally and professionally rewarding. We look forward to
seeing you in the Department.
