Resources
For Teachers
Early algebra does not aim to
increase the amount of mathematics students must learn, and it is not intended
to create an extra burden for teachers! It is also not the same as teaching a
traditional algebra curriculum early.
We hope that teachers will be
able to use our resources to think about "algebrafying" their teaching of
arithmetic. Here are some suggestions:
- To see the lessons and student activities we have used and to print them
for use in your classroom: Visit Lesson Materials
- To find out more about the theory behind early algebra and what we've
found using these lessons: Visit About Early Algebra,
as well as Research, and
FAQ's
- To find out about our summer camp and get information for you and your
students: Visit
Summer Camp

We hope that parents will be able to use our resources
to understand what early algebra is all about, and to
think about what this might mean for your child's
education. Here are some suggestions:
- We run a camp every summer for Boston area
students. To find out about our summer camp,
download an application, and get updates and
information on upcoming summers: Visit
Summer Camp
