What is DO IT IN THE DARK???
Do it in the Dark is an inter-dorm competition to see which dorm on the Tufts campus can most reduce their energy consumption in the month beginning October 14th, 2006.
What do I do?
Turn off the lights in your room when you are not there. Turn off your computer if you are not using it for more than an hour. Talk to your hall-mates, talk to your RA, the more people on board the better, and the more likely you are to win!Also stop by the dining halls when ECO is tabling to pick up more information and GLOW IN THE DARK CONDOMS!!!
How do we know who wins?
At the end of the month ECO gets the energy use readings from facilities and calculates which dorm has reduced energy consumption by the greatest percentage.What do I get if we win?
The winning dorm gets a PIZZA PARTY. There will also be a raffle with fabulous sustainable prizes.
What else can I do?
