Some ideas for reducing waste in Eaton Computer Lab are: 1)reduce font size, decrease margins 2)for printing drafts, go to page setup properties and change page layout so 2 or 4 pages are printed on one piece of paper 3)to print from the internet, select just the text you need and paste it into a word-processing application 4)when printing many separate documents, try to put them all together in one document (just make sure that each new document begins on a new page) to avoid excessive cover pages 4)use a lab other than eaton, where there are no station cover pages (like Jackson) 5)use dot matrix for drafts 6)use print preview 7)use cover pages and drafts as scrap paper! 8)if you find other solutions, contact ECO or ITS (in charge of the labs!) 9)remember, quality is better than quantity (and when quantity is important, word count is more effective than page count!) Send Email to Lab Director Jeff Weiner to request duplex (double sided)on the Eaton printers.
