What is Ears for Peers?

Ears for Peers is the confidential peer support hotline of Tufts University. We serve the Tufts community from 7:00PM to 7:00AM every night of the academic year, and from 7:00PM to 1:00AM during reading period. If you don’t know where to go or who to talk to, we can help refer you to someone who can help. If you just need someone to talk to we are here to listen. Since we are a confidential hotline, you can feel comfortable that whatever is said over the phone will remain just that – confidential. Whether you are just calling to vent about roommate problems, or you need someone to confide in about an eating disorder, we are there to listen and support you. Whatever the subject of the call is, our goal, along with simply lending an ear, is to make you aware of resources on and off campus that can provide you with more stable support to help you overcome the concern at hand.
