Drama Production Program
The production program affords students many opportunities for leaning outside the classroom, in all areas of theater: they are involved in every phase of production, from basic backstage work to directing, designing departmental major plays, and of course, acting. Students also choreograph and dance in musicals under the guidance of a faculty director or in student shows. In production, students experience the educational pleasures of contact with powerful ideas and images, of ensemble creation, and of immersion in a project for an extended period.

Dance Program Performing Opportunities
The program offers dance ensemble each fall in which students rehearse and perform in an end of semester event. Dance composition results in a spring concert every other year, and alternate spring concerts offer faculty and a variety of students a chance to perform. Students and their cast perform in senior dance projects as well.

Student Production Programs
Annually, over a dozen student-directed drama productions are presented by various Drama student organizations in the Arena Theater and other spaces. Dance Program concerts occur in the Dance Lab and Distler Recital Hall among other places. Dance student organizations perform in Cohen auditorium.
