Colleen Rua

Colleen Rua, ABD, is currently working on her dissertation, Coming Home: US-Latinos in American Musical Theatre. Colleen has taught acting, directing and theatre history at Tufts, and is currently teaching at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She served as co-chair of the Ethics in Translation panel at a recent ASTR Conference and presented her paper, Women, Violence and Mythology in the Plays of Marina Carr at a recent Popular Culture Association Conference. Colleen is also the Artistic Director of Arlington Children's Theatre and has directed productions with various companies in the Boston area.
