Catherine B. Morrow

Catherine B. Morrow is currently writing her master's thesis, Cruelty and Compassion: The Medea Myth, which is an analysis of audience reception to staged infanticide. She holds a BA from Sarah Lawrence College with a dual focus in Theatre and Philosophy. After spending time working as the press secretary for a Congressional candidate in Chicago, she came to Tufts. She teaches an introductory acting course and is a published and produced playwright showcasing her work in theatres in Chicago, New York, London, and most recently at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Her other areas of research interest are early 20th century Irish politics, ancient Greek philosophy, film studies, and linguistic theory.
