Graduate Students

Michael Lueger is a doctoral candidate. He received his bachelor's degree in English and theatre from the College of the Holy Cross. His primary research interest is in American theatre. He is currently writing his dissertation on the development of celebrity culture on the antebellum stage. Publications include work on film adaptations of Eugene O'Neill and acting technique in early modern Jesuit theatre. In addition to teaching at Tufts, he has taught courses at Emerson College.
