Hugh K. Long

Hugh K. Long is a PhD Candidate currently writing his dissertation, "At a Swords Length: Theatrical Dueling in Spanish Renaissance Drama." His primary research interests are Spanish Golden Age drama, English Renaissance drama, 19^th Century American Theatre, Irish theatre, and the historical application of stage combat. He received his BFA in Acting from New York University and his MA in Theatre Arts from California State University, Northridge. Hugh is a member of the SAFD and his fight direction has been featured in The Playboy of the Western World at the Wellesley Summer Theatre, The Revenger's Tragedy at Wellesley College, and They're Playing Your Song at Theatre@First. Hugh is also a SAG actor who has been featured on such shows as Freaks & Geeks, Strong Medicine, Arrested Development, Without a Trace, Las Vegas, and The Closer.
