Betsy Goldman

Betsy is a first year Ph.D. student. She received an M.A. in Educational Theatre from New York University, where she focused on theatre for young people, theatre pedagogy, and Theatre of the Oppressed. She holds a BA from Tufts University in English, with a focus on creative writing and poetry. Her research interests stem from the social and political aspects of theatre: Theatre of the Oppressed, theatre for social change, and theatre as a response and reaction to social and political unrest.
