From this fantastical adventure through the Land of Wisdom, Milo learns many things, not the least of which is that he must rescue the Princesses Sweet Rhyme and Pure Reason from the Land of Ignorance. Filled with ingenious word-play and characters, the knowledge and skills Milo picks up on his trek not only help him to save the Princesses, but they change his attitude towards learning which will never be the same again! HUMPTY-DUMPTY IS MISSING! or The Mysterious Case of the Fallen Egg is fun-filled spoof of the private eye thrillers of the 1940s and 1950s. Sammy Scoop is a private investigator in the tradition of his grandfather, Samuel Shovel, and his father, Sam Spade. Sammy faces the biggest challenge of his illustrious career with the sudden fall and disappearance of the jolly Humpty-Dumpty. But Sammy and his sidekick, Alice from Dallas, soon come to realize that their list of possible suspects contains some of the most famous fairy-tale characters. With the help of Mother Goose and Mother Hubbard, Sammy and Alice are finally able to crack the case of Humpty-Dumpty and nab the true culprit. Don’t miss this comedy whodunit for sleuths of all ages! ANNIE, is the heartwarming musical of a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. In one adventure after another, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and finds a new family and home in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy. The story’s upbeat plot and flamboyant characters have made Annie one of the most beloved musicals of all times! The Magic Circle Theater is New England's oldest theater by and for children. This summer three full-length productions will be presented in the air-conditioned Balch Arena Theater. This is a perfect opportunity to introduce children to the theater. The Balch Arena Theater is located on the Tufts Medford/Somerville campus, about seven miles northwest of Boston. Tickets for all performances are $7.00. Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted and group rates are available. For reservations and information, please call (617) 627-3493. Tickets do sell quickly, so don’t delay in making your
