CINDERELLA ~ Come enjoy a new adaptation of this classic tale of nasty stepsisters, nastier stepmothers, magical fairy godmothers, heartbroken maidens who just want to go to a royal ball, handsome princes, marriage-minded kings, curfews and lost shoes. It's everything you could ever want in a fairy-tale!

SHREK, THE MUSICAL, based on the Oscar winning film, brings the hilarious story of everyone's favorite ogre to life on stage. In a faraway kingdom turned upside down, things get ugly when an unseemly ogreŚnot a handsome princeŚshows up to rescue a feisty princess. Throw in a donkey who won't shut up, a villain with a short temper, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero.

THE MUSICAL ADVENTURES OF FLAT STANLEY, JR. is the charming story of Stanley Lambchop, a typical American boy with a normal mom and dad, normal little brother, normal life. That's just the problem...for Stanley, life is too normal. He wants to travel the world, do something amazing, something no one's ever seen before. Careful what you wish for, Stanley! One night, the bulletin board on the wall above Stanley's bed comes loose and falls - right on top of Stanley! The next morning, Stanley Lambchop wakes up flat. Not just a little flat...really, REALLY flat! In a whirlwind musical travelogue, Stanley scours the globe for a solution to his unusual problem. He's stamped, posted and cancelled from Hollywood to France to Honolulu and beyond. And whether he's thwarting a robbery at the Louvre Museum in Paris, or 'hanging ten' off the coast of Hawaii, Stanley is closing in on his goal of being a three-dimensional boy once more.

The Magic Circle Theater is New England's oldest theater by and for children. This summer three full-length productions will be presented in the air-conditioned Balch Arena Theater. This is a perfect opportunity to introduce children to the theater.

The Balch Arena Theater is located on the Tufts Medford/Somerville campus, about seven miles northwest of Boston. Tickets for all performances are $7.00. Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted and group rates are available.
For reservations and information, please call (617) 627-3493.
