Merredith Portsmore

Merredith is a fourth year PhD student in the M.S.T.E program focusing on engineering education. She spends most of her time in the basement of Curtis Hall, otherwise known as the Center for Engineering Educational Outreach. Merredith serves as the program manager for the STOMP program and also develops resources related to LEGOs and ROBOLAB.

Her thesis research will focus on how hands-on engineering design projects impact students' problem solving. When Merredith is not knee deep in LEGOS, she enjoys cooking, cocktail making, kayaking, and plotting to take over the world.
