Do You Have a Healthy Relationship with Food?
If you find yourself answering "yes" to many of these questions, there may be reason for concern and we urge you to consult with a physician.

  1. Are you preoccupied with the desire to be thinner?
  2. Are you terrified of gaining weight?
  3. Do you feel that food controls your life?
  4. Are you aware of the calorie and fat content of foods you eat?
  5. Do you watch what other people eat and use that to determine what and how much you will eat?
  6. Do you stop eating because you feel you should, rather than because you are full?
  7. Do you feel guilty after eating?
  8. Do you like when your stomach feels empty?
  9. Do you have to eat in certain patterns?
  10. Do you have the impulse to vomit after eating?
  11. Do you use laxatives to control your weight or shape?
  12. Do you react to stress or upsetting situations by eating?
  13. Do you go on eating binges where you feel you can't stop?
  14. Do you think about the number of calories you are burning when exercising?
  15. Does exercise replace other activities ie. classes, social events, meals?
