Back in the saddle again

Back in the saddle again

. This image of the saddle region on 433 Eros was taken on 22 March 2000 by the NEAR Shoemaker spacecraft. The saddle is about 10 kilometers across. It may be the scar of an ancient crater, or somehow related to a different large crater on the opposite side of the asteroid.
