Campus Services
There are many services on campus to make your stay more
productive and enjoyable. They range from free movies to copying
services, libraries, computer user areas, and numerous dining
options.
Banking
ATMs are located in the Mayer Campus Center and Dowling Hall.
Bank branch offices and ATMs are located in Davis Square and
Hillside in Medford, only a short walk from campus.
Book Store
Located in the Mayer Campus Center, the
Barnes and Noble
bookstore stocks a wide variety of books, newspapers, souvenirs,
clothing, and sundries. Check at the Front Desk for extended
bookstore hours. Summer hours are:
Monday - Thursday: 9am - 4pm
Friday: 9am - 2pm
Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED
Campus Center
Located at the corner of Talbot Avenue and Latin Way, the
Mayer
Campus Center offers ATM machines, the campus bookstore,
comfortable lounges, and cash dining options. The main lounge
offers a pool table and a ping-pong table (equipment can be
borrowed from the Student Activities Office on the building’s
main level). The Campus Center is open:
Monday - Friday: 8 am - 5 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED
Computer Services
Tufts offers computer user areas with PCs, scanners, laser
printers and Internet connections. Check at the Front Desk for
hours and availability.
Copying Services
Coin-operated copying machines are available in the Mayer Campus
Center and the libraries. The Copy Center is located next to
Halligan Hall. Services include reproduction and binding. Hours
are:
Monday - Friday: 7:30 am - 4 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED
Dining Options
Meal plans are valid only in the Dewick-MacPhie Dining Hall upon
presentation of your computerized meal card or meal ticket.
Meals not included in your meal plan may be purchased on a cash
basis at all the Tufts dining facilities listed below.
Dewick-MacPhie Dining Hall
The newly renovated Dewick-MacPhie Dining Hall now offers a
variety of serving stations. These include: pizza, deli bar,
traditional entrees, extensive salad bar, vegetarian station,
pasta bar and a grill.

Lunch Monday-Saturday 11:00 am - 1:30 pm

Brown and Brew
This coffeehouse is located in Curtis Hall and offers a variety
of coffees, teas, pastries, bagels, soups and light sandwiches.
Monday - Friday: 8 am - 2 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED
The Commons, Mayer Campus Center
The Commons offers a selection of scones, muffins, hot entrees
and gourmet coffees in the morning. Lunches include homemade
breads at the deli bar, burgers, soups, hot entrees and a salad
bar.
Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 2:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED
Off Campus Dining Options
For local restaurants and other dining suggestions, refer to the

through our extensive Menu Guide at the Front Desk.
Tisch Library
Conference participants have access to university libraries upon
presentation of their conference identification cards. The
Tisch
Library operational hours are:
Monday - Thursday 8:45am - 10:00pm
Friday 8:45am - 5:00pm
Saturday 10:00am - 4:00pm
Sunday 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Parking
Resident guests will receive a parking pass upon check-in.
Passes should be displayed on the dashboard and are not valid in
metered spaces, fire lanes, Medford and Somerville streets, or
the Dowling Hall parking garage.
Parking is available uphill in
the Carmichael lot, downhill in the Cohen/Aidekman lot, and
around campus in designated areas. Overnight on-street parking
is prohibited. Parking on Medford and Somerville streets is
restricted as posted. Parking is available in Dowling Hall for
an additional fee paid directly to the Tufts Parking Office
(tokens may be purchased within the parking garage).
Post Office
The U.S. Post Office is located in Curtis Hall across from the
Memorial Steps on Boston Avenue. The Post Office operational
Hours are:
Monday-Friday: 7 am - 5:15 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED
Recreation
Tufts University offers a full range of
athletic facilities that
include an indoor pool, a fitness center, basketball and squash
courts, indoor and outdoor tracks, playing fields, and lighted
outdoor tennis courts. All conference participants have access
to these facilities with their identification card. Sports
equipment is available for loan from the Conference Bureau at
the Front Desk.

Religious Services
Though there are no on-campus services during the summer, the
chaplain’s office in
Goddard Chapel is open. Please consult the
Front Desk for information on worship services in the local
area.
Transportation
For access to Boston please consult the bus schedules, subway
maps and taxi service information available at the Front Desk.
