Barnum Hall Meeting Places

We offer a broad range of meeting spaces including large auditoriums that seat from 100 to 600 participants; classroom-style plenary and breakout spaces from 10 to 100; and banquet space for up to 500.With the breadth and number of buildings we operate throughout the summer, we are sure to tailor a meeting room arrangement suitable to your group's needs. We are able to offer meeting rooms in close proximity to each other, the dining facilities, and break space.

South Hall Accommodations

Each summer, from late May through mid-August, we open up our residential halls to conference guests and offer convenient accommodations close to your meeting. We offer room accommodations furnished with twin beds, bureaus, desks, chairs, a closet and provide air-conditioned rooms, on request and based on availability. We also supply each room with linens, pillows, blankets, towels, soap and a guest guide for answers to any questions about Tufts facilities and services. In most of our residential halls, lockable shared bathrooms are located along the hallway.

Residential Amenities

Each residential hall is equipped with laundry facilities, vending machines and various recreational options (pool tables, ping pong tables, video games, etc.). All of our residential halls are staffed 24 hours a day by a member of our conference staff to insure your convenience and security. Our hospitality/security desk offers message and fax services, sells various snacks and other lodging essentials, and can make suggestions on area restaurants and attractions.

Dining Options

Various meals, breaks and receptions can be tailored to meet the needs of your group. Tufts' skilled chefs can work with you to develop a variety of menus that will please your guests as well as take into account your budgetary guidelines. Conference dining is offered in the Dining Hall and catered meals in private dining rooms for groups ranging in size from 10 to 600. We can also help with arrangements for on- or off-campus receptions, clambakes, theme parties and more!

Eaton Hall Computing facilities

Are you worried about staying in touch with friends and family while you are in the Boston area? Do you need internet access and don't want to carry your PC with you to Boston? Fret not because as part of your conferencing experience at Tufts you will have full access to the Tufts Eaton Computer lab. Eaton offers conference participants over 134 PC's, 26 Macs, 6 printers and 2 typewriters to choose from, so you never need to worry about finding an available machine. Internet access is available on each machine and the Eaton computer lab is set up with pay-for-print capabilities.

Tisch Library Library

As part of your conferencing experience, conference participants are invited to make full use of the Tufts Tisch Library. Whether you are seeking a quiet room to study, read or you are interested in borrowing the latest best sellers, Tisch library is available for your use.
