Charlie Sykes - CV
Charles.Sykes@Tufts.edu

Charlie received a Masters in Chemistry at Oxford and a Ph.D. at Cambridge University before moving to the US and joining Paul Weiss's group as a postdoc.

Graduate
Students

Ashleigh Baber, 5th Year
Ashleigh.Baber@Tufts.edu

Ashleigh graduated from Randolph-Macon Woman's College with a B.S. in Chemistry. She is currently investigating both the fundamentals of molecular adsorption on metals, and naturally chiral surfaces with a low temperature STM.

Erin Iski, 5th Year
Erin.Iski@Tufts.edu

Erin graduated from the University of Tulsa with a B.S. in Chemistry. She is currently studying molecular chiral assembly and molecular motifs of pharmaceutically relavent compounds on the low temperature STM.

April Jewell Heather Tierney

April Jewell, 3rd Year - CV
April.Jewell@Tufts.edu

April received her B.S. in Chemistry from George Washington University. She then joined the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA where she worked for several years before coming to Tufts to pursue her graduate degree.

Heather Tierney, 4th Year
Heather.Tierney@Tufts.edu

Heather graduated with a major in chemistry and a minor in mathematics from Assumption College, MA. She is now working on molecular rotors, self assembly, and alloy surfaces on the LT-STM.

Tim Lawton, 2nd Year
Timothy.Lawton@tufts.edu

Tim received his B.S. in Chemistry from WPI in Worcester, MA. He is currently working on mapping curved crystals on the VT-STM and studying naturally chiral metal surfaces.

Matthew Boucher
Matthew.Boucher@Tufts.edu

Matt is a collaborating graduate student from Prof. Flytzani-Stephanopoulos' group in the Chemical Engineering Department. He received his Master's degree from the University of Connecticut. He is currently working on controlling nanoscale catalytic particle nucleation and growth.

Alumni

Mahy El-Kouedi

Mahy was a visiting Professor from UNC-Charlotte. She is now a Program Director in the Office of Faculty Affairs at Harvard Medical School

Darin Bellisario

Darin Bellisario - CV
Darin.Bellisario@tufts.edu

Darin was a Chemical Engineering student at Tufts. He studied thioether self assembly at elevated temperatures and the adsorption of catalytic metals on chiral surfaces. He will attend graduate school at MIT.

Stephen

Stephen Jensen
Stephen.Jensen @ tufts.edu

Stephen was an undergraduate Chemistry major at Tufts. He was working on the UHV-STM investigating the effect of quantum confinement on molecular adsorption. He is now pursuing post-bachelor's education at Harvard University.
