Kicking off National Chemistry Week 2002 festivities.
What do Ancient Egypt and chemistry have in common? Lots! Join us for a day of special chemistry programs and demonstrations throughout the Museum with an Egyptian twist. Taking place all day October 20.

Hands-on Activities:
1. Mummification of an apple.
2. Preparing lip and face paints from natural products.
3. Preparing perfumes and soaps from natural products.

The Sunday presentations are free and open to the public through the generous support of the Lowell Institute. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and free tickets are available at the registration table in the main lobby. Garage parking is available all day. The Shakhashiri presentations are FREE to the public through the generous support of the Lowell Institute.
