2005 NATIONAL CHEMISTRY WEEK ACTIVITIES

Kicking off National Chemistry Week 2005 festivities
There were a variety of hands-on activities including making slime, making super balls, paper chromatography, and other activities related to the theme of toys.

Phyllis A. Brauner Memorial Lecture

A highlight of the day: Guest speaker Professor Bassam Shakhashiri of the University of Wisconsin presented his famous demonstrations at the Phyllis A. Brauner Memorial Lecture.

It was held at Wellesley College, Science Center.

Poster Competition

The Northeastern section of the ACS participated in the National Poster Competition.
